    In my Zazen (meditation) practice, after a prayer for God’s blessings on the practice, I follow my breath and notice the pause between the inhale and exhale. I pause at the pause in full awareness but without thoughts. Meditation on Mu (Nothing or No-thing) is the Zen method and we understand that thoughts are things. It is in the stillness that we can pass through the Gateless Gate.
